Eastside MTA
Conferences & Grants
It is the goal of the Woodcock Committee and the EMTA Board that many EMTA teachers will take advantage of this opportunity to attend the District, National and State conferences for half price; growing friendships, professionalism, pedagogy, musicianship, and inspiration in our chapter.
The EMTA Woodcock Conference Grant
The EMTA Woodcock Conference Grant program is a great opportunity where the Dorothy Woodcock Endowment Fund will pay a grant to cover half the cost of each registration for every qualified EMTA teacher attending the State WSMTA, National MTNA and District I & II Conferences. Its purposes are to encourage teachers to get to know each other better, to grow professionally and musically through attending the conferences, and to promote conference attendance.
