Our mission

Is to provide students with a unique, well-rounded musical experience. We present the essential fun of music and expose students to a wider musical community. The Ribbon Festival is a non-competitive, non-adjudicated event. Participants receive an achievement ribbon for every event they complete!

Cancelled for 2025-2026. Please contact Holly Seneker (hollyseneker@gmail.com) if interested in volunteering on the Ribbon Festival Committee. We need four committee members to help with scheduling, facilities, marketing, and workshop coordination.

The Ribbon Festival is a NON-COMPETITIVE, non-adjudicated event offering workshops such as Rhythm, Baroque Dance, Guitar, Jazz Improvisation, and Music History.

Participants receive an achievement ribbon for every event they complete. All students ages 6-16 years old who have taken at least one year of private lessons can participate in this fun event!

All students age 6-16 years old (Must have at least one year of private lessons), Fee is $50 for students of EMTA members; $55 for non-member students

What:

Students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of workshops presented by local artists and teachers.

REGISTRATION

Follow these steps for registration:
1.) Pay for the event using the “Payment” button on this page. We accept all major credit cards. The fee is $50 per student for this 4 hour event.  Non members are $55. 
2.) After payment is received, you must then email Holly Seneker at hollyseneker@gmail.com to receive an invitation to register since this is a private event.  
3.) You will receive an invitation via email from Holly Seneker.  Login from this email and schedule 4 workshops for your child, through an event app called, “Sched”.  
4.) Download the “Sched” app to have access to your account and view your schedule.
